Peter Lipa – most remarkable individuality of Slovak jazz. Singer, composer, organizer, interpreter, manager of jazz activity, dramaturge and promoter of one of the biggest European jazz festival “Bratislava’s jazz days“ (Bratislavske jazzove dni).

     Jazz magazine of the International Jazz Federation Jazz Forum placed Peter Lipa in between the best jazz singers. His music is based on blues, soul, and classic mainstream idiom. He is very flexible and has perfect style orientation. His range is from classic jazz standards and dixieland through Latin-American jazz, jazz chanson and spiritual up to funky and rock.
